Troika Marmalade Jar (64)

This is a fine example of beautiful Troika pottery

It is a Marmalade Jar and is decorated by Sylvia Vallence, who only worked for Troika for a short while from 1967 to 1969, providing an element of rarety in the number of her pieces.

The Troika pottery was originally established in St Ives in 1963, and from 1970 the pottery was moved to Newlyn. This was manufactured in the St Ives pottery.

The piece is in pristine condition, no chips, cracks or repairs and has the usual Troika pottery makes on the base alongside the decorators mark.

The colours are still fresh, being blue, and dark brown.
